We're excited to have you guys out with us here in just a few short weeks, for the 3rd annual Perfect Game National World Series! The 2021 edition of the event is slated to be the most competitive yet, and we're ready to get rolling!

This year's itinerary will be as follows:

JUNE 10TH - Opening Ceremonies activities and Coaches Meeting (EST. Start time of 2pm) at the lower fields at East Cobb. We are going to be showcasing 5 different skills, including Fastest Man, Catcher Pop Times, Infield Accuracy, Outfield Accuracy, and a Home Run Derby! Awards to be passed out for each event!

--Home Run Derby: Each team will supply one (1) member of the team to compete in the Home Run Derby competition. Players will have one minute to hit as many home runs as possible. Top FOUR players will advance to a sudden death Championship round, with an additional 1 minute to hit as many out as possible. Please provide a coach/parent to throw.

--Fastest Man: Each team will supply up to three (3) members of the team to compete in the Fastest Man competition. Players will be duking it out to see who's the fastest man on the field, by running the 40 yard dash! Times will be measured using our state of the art laser equipment used at our showcase event, and players will have two opportunities to run.

--Catcher Pop: Each team will supply up to three (3) members of the team to compete in our Catcher Pop competition. Players will have 5 timed throws down to second base, and shortest time will be our winner! Due to the expected heat we normally get at the ECB complex in summer, Catching Gear will be OPTIONAL.

--Infield Accuracy: Each team will supply up to three (3) members of the team to compete in our Infield Accuracy competition. Players will field ground balls from the SS position, and aim toward our target located at first base. Points system to be announced at the event.

--Outfield Accuracy: Each team will supply up to three (3) member of the team to compete in our Outfield Competition. Players will field balls from the outfield, aiming at a target set up at home plate. Points system to be announced at the event.

At the conclusion of the skills competitions, we will have a brief coaches meeting and Q&A session with our tournament staff, right there at East Cobb.

When your team is ready to submit your candidates for each competition, please send us a separate email to our inbox at pgyouthnational@perfectgame.org, with the email title "PG World Series Skills Competition". Please be sure to include your team name, players, and numbers.
