ID Camps FAQ

A Select Fest ID Camp is a Baseball Experience that includes both Athletic Skills Testing and Simulated Games. PG staff will record all metrics. Select Fest ID Camps are a great way for 9- and 10-year-olds to begin building their PG 'resume' and grow accustomed to the type of events/testing that are commonplace at higher levels. Each of our 11U and 12U participants will receive consideration for their respective Select Festivals. Our player gear package, on-field skills, athletic testing and game like competition creates an unparalleled baseball experience for all who attend!

Yes, results from each player’s athletic/skills testing sessions will be posted to the individual player’s PG Profile. National Leaderboards will be formulated from each event to show where each participant stacks up across the country.

The Athletic Skills Testing portion will consist of the following:
  • 30 YD Dash
  • 5-10-5 Shuttle
  • Home to First Base
  • First Base to Third Base
  • Grip Strength
  • Broad Jump

The Skills Testing portion of the Select Fest ID Camp will consist of the following:
  • Defensive Workouts
  • Batting Practice
  • Exit Velocity/Pelotero Swing Analysis
  • Live Simulated Games

Rosters/Teams will be determined by PG Staff using positional needs to ensure that each Simulated Game is as competitive as possible.

Every participant will be provided with an opportunity to take part in the Athletic Components and Skills Testing along with Batting Practice. Players will be divided into teams for the Simulated Games, where pitchers will have the opportunity to throw bullpens to live hitters, and position players will be able to perform in game-like situations.
