Jace Miner is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 149 lb. frame from Reynoldsville, PA who attends Brookville. Medium and skinny frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.20 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, uses an overhead windup taking a side step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a full arm action up to a sidearm slot, arm stays loose through the back with some quickness to it, stays online with his delivery with a clean hip turn, repeats delivery and arm stroke well while maintaining his velocity as well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph while flashing armside life, mixed in a slider with plenty of depth to it, crafty lefty who creates a tough angle to the plate for hitters, dominant performance in this outing. Secondary first baseman, sits back on the baseball while fielding it bending at the knees, takes a loose arm action into throws. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, uses a leg lift trigger into contact, long swing plane with a flat path and linear through the zone, will drift onto front side while flashing occasional lift, pull side approach. Good student.
