Luke Schmolke is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman HS. Medium athletic build with room to project physically. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Side step into a leg lift up above the belt. Long and loose arm action and fires from an over the top arm slot. Lots of whip and arm speed. Fastball topped out at 92 mph with steep downhill plane at times and good life. Curveball has hard, hammer-like bite to the pitch and absolutely projects as an out pitch moving forward. Very strong two pitch mix at present and misses plenty of bats. Great student. Verbal commitment to Georgia Tech.
