Moore is the son of long-time Kansas City Royals General Manager Dayton Moore and his big league background shows in the way he plays the game. Moore is perhaps the top defensive middle infielder in the class, with outstanding instincts, quick feet and some of the fastest and surest hands one will ever see on a high school junior. Offensively, Moore is a switch-hitter whose bat speed has blossomed over the past year as he’s added important strength to an already sound approach.
