Anaiscio Ortiz is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Richmond Hill. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, leaner build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, leg lift up to core at start, big turn at top of delivery, lands slightly closed coming down the mound; lots of arm speed through the backside with a full arm path and extension working out to a mid three-quarters release point.Fastball topped out at 88 mph, creates big angle out of the hand with release and has life through the zone. Slider is an advanced secondary, hard and late lateral life up to 79 mph, rips it hard through the zone and can incorporate it more into repertoire. Changeup shows flashes of being a quality pitch, up to 79 mph with fading life the more he threw it. Smooth and fluid defender at first base with middle infield-type actions, quickness to hands with fluidity and strong arm across diamond; similar big arm from the outfield, shorter steps on the approach, higher slot on throws with a loose arm and some whip, low and on line carry. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Rotates well and creates some lift in swing with extension out front. Stays shorter to the ball, full finish with steady line drive contact. Good student. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
