Matthew Luis Medrano Jr is a 2024 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Holmes. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Medium frame with athleticism to it and still has projection left. Simple operation the mound. Medium lift with a slight drop in the back side and throws a ton of strikes. His fastball was up to 82 MPH with some arm side run to it. Primarily worked just off the fastball and was able to generate whiffs with it. In the field, throws from a lower slot and utilizes his pure arm strength from the outfield. At the plate, starts with a hanging toe tap timing mechanism and and has a pull happy approach. His highest exit velocity was 82 MPH. Should develop more power as he fills out.
