Angel Esparza is a 2026 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-6 110 lb. frame from Litchfield Park, AZ who attends Canyon View. Slender young build. Runs well for his age and size, 7.37 in the sixty. Middle infielder who also plays the outfield, full arm action with a low slot throwing, moves into his throws well and develops momentum into release. Right handed hitter, hits from a high leg lift load from slightly open stance, has a short and direct swing, mostly line drive but will get downhill at times, aggressive hitter whose bat speed will continue to improve with strength and physical maturity. Also pitched, drop and drive mechanics that get into his lower half well, will pause at different points in his delivery, long 3/4's arm slot, tends to fall off hard to the first base side on release. Pitched exclusively with a fastball, topping out at 66 mph.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
