Xander Kane is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-7 110 lb. frame from Newport, AR who attends Pangburn. Very young and slender build. Primary left handed pitcher, has drop and drive mechanics and does a nice job of getting his lower half turned and into his delivery, 3/4's arm slot, arm synced up well with his lower half drive on his fastball but tended to be late on his secondary pitches. Threw mostly fastballs, topped out at 67 mph, fastball is mostly straight but thrown to spots and moved around the strike zone, especially to the arm side. Competed hard and had a solid outing. 8.08 runner in the sixty, plays the outfield when not on the mound. Left handed hitter, hits from a squared stance with a busy hand load, tends to jump out at pitches and get off balance, swings hard. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
