Jackson McDanel is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Moravia, IA who attends Moravia. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Excellent runner, posted a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well through the ball and shows present footwork on the approach, fields it out front cleanly, can continue to implement additional lower half actions working through the ball, longer release into throws, shows some present arm strength on to first base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance in the box, swing with intent, loads hands back deeper at start of swing. Long swing path through the zone with present bat speed, gets rotational and occasionally opens front side early, best contact when getting the barrel out front and extended. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
