Brayden Rishell is a 2027 SS/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-4 110 lb. frame from Lancaster, PA who attends Hempfield. He has a smaller frame with an athletic build that has plenty of physical development ahead of him as he matures. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.24 seconds. Primary shortstop that has quick feet and gets into the proper fielding easily. He fields the ball out in front of his body with two hands and transfers it well. He has clean fundamentals that will only continue to sharpen as he ages and develops. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has a simple and compact motion that is easily repeatable. He uses dip and drive back leg mechanics and works in line with the plate well. His fastball has cutting action on it and his curveball is a developing pitch that shows promising break. Right-handed hitter that starts in a slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a leg lift trigger for timing. He has a linear swing path and is able to keep the barrel in the zone, allowing him to hit the ball to all fields. He showed consistent barrel accuracy throughout his round. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
