2022 13U/14U Ohio Valley Prospect Showcase
Gabe Grimm is a 2027 SS/OF with a 5-5 118 lb. frame from Ottawa Hills, OH who attends Ottawa Hills. Young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a open and crouched stance with a tight hand load, well connected swing with some leverage at contact, gets some jump off the barrel when he pulls the ball, uses his lower half well to help generate bat speed. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Plays both middle infield and outfield, moves well at both positions and uses his speed attacking the ball, makes accurate throws with some carry from a 3/4's arm slot. Good athlete who should continue to improve in all areas as he gets bigger.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
