Nick Reid is a 2023 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-5 219 lb. frame from Tacoma, WA who attends Curtis. Tall larger frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.85 seconds. Primary first baseman, was clocked up to 52 mph on throws across the diamond. Showed the ability to make the routine plays but is still developing infield actions. Worked through the ball with stiff hands, will continue to get better as he cleans up his mehanices. At the plate, hits from the left side with a, upright narrow open stance. Has a lick kick trigger, displayed a soft long swing that gets in and out of the zone quick. Flashed some bat speed, displayed a pull side approach driving the ball on the ground to right field. The strength will continue to develop as he gets older. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
