Steve Jacobo Jr is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Pasadena Memorial. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.67 seconds. Hits from upright stance with balanced set, short and compact swing with inside-out path, consistent approach, could get barrel on plane more. Worked out in the infield, moves well to both sides, deeper funnel, hands work well, works through it well and stays directional, clocked up to 76 mph on throws across. Also pitched, quick arm stroke, fastball worked 72-73 mph with running life, showed slow curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
