Mikey Ianniello is a 2027 SS/RHP, 2B, MIF, OF with a 5-5 120 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Young prospect with lean frame and emerging overall physicality with a tremendous amount of time to gain. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.94 seconds. Primary position IF, showing good overall actions and solid fundamental foundation. Good footwork getting into his angles efficiently and has a feel for the position. Glove work is sound with some smoothness and more to come. Throws are accurate, especially for age and showed throws up to 71 mph. Reps in the OF as well, with similar athletic actions getting to the ball in good shape. Clean transfer from crow hop to good one hop throws with good spin. LHH working from a wide start with big shift pre-pitch and hangs to create timing. HIgh handset to lower launch position, finding the good part of the barrel with regularity. Has hitterish actions and if he stays on this path and adds physicality should be a real offensive threat. Showed very well for a young prospect at this event.
