2021 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Noah Severson is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, IF with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Vancouver, WA who attends Mountain View. Small frame with a light build. 7.33 60-yd. Showed quick feet for infield defensive position showing the ability to play on time and fair glove actions. Trusts his feet staying behind the baseball and letting high slot arm make throws. Arm strength is the main area of opportunity for defensive skills. Offensively works from an open and narrow start with loose hands loading early. Tendency to stay on the backside with lots of pre-pitch movement leading to steep and direct hands. Will need to adjust timing as swings were catching the ball very deep and late during batting practice.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
