Luke Bailey is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Christian. Tall and slender hipped, athletic look with lots of room to fill. A primary pitcher, works primarily from the stretch with a big hip turn at the top. Hold coil to foot strike and uses the base effectively. Lots of arm side run on the fastball and more coming as the body fills out. Cuts the CH some and it helps play off the FB shape. Landed a developing breaking ball that should turn into a short slider with reps. High 3/4 release and good attacking to the glove side. A right-handed hitter, balanced and in line set up with a toe tap trigger. Turns well and can pull the hands in to find the barrel. Solid middle of the field approach with some quickness to the hands. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
