Mateo Guzman is a 2022 OF/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from San Francisco, CA who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. Recorded a 6.89 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with slender build and room to add strength. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process, fields slightly off to the side and works into a high effort release. Exhibits long arm action to throw, while recording arm strength up to 81 mph during drills. Delivered fairly accurate throws throughout with some carry to them. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, open stance with a high hand set and high back elbow. Contact oriented swing with linear path and short, direct hand path. Developing bat-to-ball skills with occasional impact to the pull-side. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
