Johnny Brucato is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Cheshire, CT who attends The Cheshire Academy. Brucato worked from the infield flashing quick smooth transitions with solid range and fluid footwork. He showed evident zip across the diamond with effortless repeatable transfers. Offensively, Brucato started from a slightly open stance with compact hands and a level bat path through the zone creating consistent line drive contact. He had clear feel for the barrel and should continue to fill out his power potential in the future. Ran a 7.32 60 yard dash.
