Brady Mescher is a 2023 RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Allen, MI who attends Quincy. Ran a 7.85 second sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a thick medium build. Starts with a leg lift above the belt in the wind up maintaining a good line to the plate as he comes down the mound. The arm works to a mid three-quarters arm slot with developing arm speed with the fastball sitting 71-74 mph showing some arm side run due to the slot. Also showed young traits on the breaking ball with loose spin that will develop with more intent. Showed developing footwork to the ball on the infield receiving the ball out front with firm hands and gathering at the mid line before making an accurate throw across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts with a wider base using a toe tap trigger to start the swing. Creates some separation pre-swing and keeping the hands to the inside part of the ball with young bat speed through the zone as the bat stays on a level path. Impacted the ball best to the middle of the field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
