Cody Cizek is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Papillion, NE who attends Creighton Preparatory. Large frame with present physical strength. Primary RH pitcher, has sound delivery and arm action.Pitches from the 1B side of the rubber. Throws 3/4 arm action. Currently lacks good arm speed. FB has occasional arm side run & sinking life when down in the zone, tries to locate to both sides of the plate, needs to continue to refine FB command. Breaking ball lacks consistent tight rotation & bite, has occasional 11/5 to 3/4 type action. Has steady pace & rhythm, around the zone with all pitches. Needs to continue to improve the quality of his strikes. Recorded 8.56 60-yd time. Also participated in infield drills, showed sound fundamentals with the ability to make the routine type plays. Recorded 75 mph throw in infield drills with accuracy. RH hitter with narrow, straight away stance. Line drive, contact type hitting approach, tries to hit to all fields. Young player that has the potential to continue to improve with proper development and added physical strength. Excellent student.
