Ahmon Smith is a 2024 SS/2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Nassau, NW who attends CH Reeves junior high school. Taller height with an athletic looking frame that will hold good bulk. Ran a 7.85 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, has some spring in the feet. Presents the glove out front and in time. Best coming in on the ball, showed body control and ability to release with accuracy on the move. A right-handed hitter, starts with a spread base and really fires the hands. Mostly linear approach with a full swing path. Lots of drive to the opposite field gap in RCF. Strong hands. Very good student.
