Timothy Leark is a 2025 OF/LHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Oak Park & River Forest. Recorded a 7.08 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame and medium build. Primary outfielder, quick mover with fluid actions and with direct footwork. Fields one-handed under the hip and has a clue for the actions. Full arm swing with good arm speed with good flight on the throws with arm strength showing recording throws up to 88. Also threw an inning on the mound. The left-handed pitcher works from the first-base side of the rubber with a belt-high leg kick with a three- quarter arm slot. Flies open but arm stays in line with the plate. Slight pause and hip turn before driving off the back leg with some effort at release. The fastball (2134 RPM) was low 80s and worked up to 84 with late life. Also showed a quality slider (2280 RPM) with sweep and 2-8 shape that he could throw to the back foot of right-handed hitters. Can fall off toward the third base side but was efficient and effective in the strike zone. Went right after hitters and challenging them in the strike zone and kept the attack plan against left-handed hitters working the fastball to the arm-side and working the slider low and out of the zone to get swing and misses. Struck out side in his first inning on the mound. Poised on the mound with good pitch ability and looks comfortable on the mound. Left-handed hitter starts from a wider base and square stance with high hands and a high back elbow. Lift and replace trigger that works inward. Rotational through contact with a hard torso rotation and a flat bat path. Direct with the hands driving it well in the air. Clean operation in the box with impact when the barrel gets to it out front with the best contact coming to the pull-side. Impressed in game action with a loud barrel working uphill on a fastball and stayed through it driving it to right-center field. Also made a nice diving play in left-center field to take away a base knock. Exciting player with a high ceiling. Good student. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
