Sunil Lindsay is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Raleigh, NC who attends Cary Academy. Ultra tall, lean build with a lot of projection. Ran a 7.77 in the 60 yard dash. Primary position RHP using a simple side step delivery and a nice three quarters, full arm path as he filled up the strike zone. He ran his FB up to 78 mph and it showed some run to the arm side. He replicated his CH very nicely, showing good arm speed and added an advanced breaking ball with slurve type shape. Had the aptitude to get back in line mechanically after he lost the zone for a few pitches and displays a feel for pitching overall. Worked out at 1B as a secondary position and showed the ability to work around the bag, has an understanding for the position. Right handed hitter who works back to the plate on his load and shows a flat bat path. Did get a little steep in his approach at times resulting in slicing action off the bat to the opposite field. Set up is simple with a medium leg lift and will improve hit tool significantly with swing plane adjustment. High level student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
