2023 13U/14U Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Eli Peterson is a 2028 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-4 105 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends New Braunfels. Smaller frame with a very young and lean build. Ran an 8.68 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, sound delivery with good rhythm to how he works, full over the top slot and finishes down the mound well, throws strikes with the fastball and shows feel for a big breaking ball, able to mix his stuff and show pitchability. Also plays shortstop and the outfield, a little uncoordinated right now but an idea to get through the baseball and fluid into his release, will add arm strength with time. Right-handed hitter, narrow stance to start, presets the front foot early and works level through the zone, stays to the middle of the field with developing impact strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
