Darius Bautista is a 2026 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Pacifica, CA. He has a tall frame for his age with room to fill as he develops. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.76 seconds. Primary shortstop that showed good footwork up the middle. He has a stiffer operation and is able to generate some carry on his throws. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a high leg kick and does a nice job of hiding the ball in his delivery. He has a clean arm action and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a low effort motion that allowed his velocity to maintain throughout his outing. He is able to generate some arm side run with his fastball that he showed good control over. His breaking ball is an 11-5 curveball that has nice depth and tunnels off the fastball well. Right-handed hitter that starts in a wider base that is slightly squatty with his weight on his back foot. He uses a simple stride for timing. His swing is rotational and is able to muscle the ball into the gaps.
