2022 WWBA West Workout Showcase (July 8)
Matthew Pueschel is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Medium build with some length to his lower half with present strength. Primary infielder, receives it well from a quicker transfer. Accurate arm with strength to match, gets there on time. Works well to the back hand. Left-handed hitter, upright in the box with a narrow base and slightly open stance. Quick hands get on plane with a direct approach. Stays short and produces bat speed with some strength to the pull side. Able to get the head out front with good intent. Impressive round with some upside in the bat. Excellent student. Named to the WWBA West Workout Top Prospect List.
