George Dirks is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Plant HS. Recorded a 7.56 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lanky build with lots of room to add strength and fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with a slow paced delivery and a big leg lift at the balance point. Drives hard down the mound and shows solid arm speed. Whips over the front side which can lead to timing issues. Higher three-quarters arm slot and the fastball topped out at 79 mph. Lots of diving action on the changeup and loose spin on the breaking ball. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the outfield. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Small stride forward with an upper half dominant swing. Flat swing path and projects for additional power with strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
