Kole Starlin is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Pleasant Hill, MO who attends Pleasant Hill. Slender build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a high leg lift start and good on line direction down the mound, compact arm circle in back with an over the top arm slot coming through. Fastball worked up to 74 mph, gets arm side run at times and locates well to the arm side as well. Threw a slurve type breaking ball and a change up as secondary pitches, change up was the better pitch this day with proper arm speed and some late fade. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Had aggressive actions and good athleticism in the outfield on defense and carried his momentum through the ball. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight open stance with a direction shift into contact, upper body swing with a line drive swing plane and all fields contact, showed some barrel control and contact ability. Will keep improving with additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
