Patrick Diaz is a 2026 3B/1B/SS with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends St Raymond’s High School For Boys. Diaz works from a strong broad build with present physicality proportioned throughout. Exclusively from the IF, he displayed soft hands with clean actions and clear arm strength across the diamond up to 86 mph. Accuracy should refine in a game setting. Projects as a corner IF. Offensively, the righty started from a slightly open base with a hanging leg lift trigger, generating hard line drive impact to the middle of the field. He has evident bat speed through the zone with easy strength in the hands, consistently finding the good part of the barrel to produce carry on the baseball. Posted an exit velo of 94 mph. Ran a 7.79 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
