Benson Broadway is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Ardmore, AL who attends Ardmore. Medium athletic build and young with a lot of time to develop. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Primary position C with young, long overall actions and presentation behind the plate. Glove work into transition is deliberate and works into his emerging arm strength producing a 2.32 best pop time. Overall development and physicality will lead to cleaner mechanics in the near future. Right handed hitter starting balanced and using a fast paced toe tap stride and rhythm. Significant hand load creating length in the bat path as he works uphill to contact. Some feel for the barrel with future bat speed development and works the middle of the field with his approach. Secondary RHP starting very upright and offset with nice position over the rubber. Separates hands at the chest and works into a deep arm circle that works well when in line with the body. Tends to collapse on the front side and leaves glove in front of body at release causing some deceleration. Consistent timing issues due to arm path length and front side but there is talent once these issues are addressed.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
