Dave Dinelli is a 2005 right handed pitcher from Folsom, California, with a large frame, and strong durable build. He is a durable pitcher with good action to his fastball that topped out at 88 mph. Dinelli also showed a good feel for the strike zone when he didn't drift and fall off to the side before his release. He mixes in a late breaking slider that was tough against right handed hitters at 77 mph. Dinelli has a heavy ball that should get many ground ball outs at the next level. Dinelli has potential and should be a top Division 1 pitcher in the future. He can really pitch, has good size and David is a good student.
