Matthew Tungate is a 2025 3B/2B, IF, UT with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Ballard. Primary infielder, fits the listed corner. Glove works well through the backhand, getting behind the ball regularly. Not the best lateral swiftness but gets to the fielding point on time. Did make a couple of nice plays in game. Right-handed hitter, square stance with high back elbow and calm load. The path is short and compact to impact when the physicall strength shines in the air through the gaps. Simple swing that can translate well to in game action. 7.74 60-yard. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
