Atticus Solomons is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Monmouth Junction, NJ who attends South Brunswick. A long, lean and very projectable build with a lot of time to add strength. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.52 seconds. Primary position RHP working exclusively from the stretch, sets his hands mid-thigh and works into a low 3/4 arm angle. His arm action is long and full helping him create a fastball that reached 78 mph and he filled up the strike zone with this pitch. He showcased two secondary pitches, the first being a bigger curveball with mostly vertical break in the low 60's and a changeup that showed a bit of sink in the mid 60's. Proved to be quite effective when utilizing his full compliment of pitches. Took reps in the outfield, fielding the ball out front and using a two-hand gather to transition and reached 79 mph on his throws. RHH who worked from a spread stance deep in his legs. Showed nice rhythm and inward turn for his load creating length and loft to the pull side. Solid student and more to come on the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
