Hayden Dean is a 2026 C/RHP/OF with a 5-11 161 lb. frame from Lafayette, TN who attends Macon County. Slender young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary catcher on defense, has quick and very active feet, moves well laterally, quick and compact arm action, makes accurate throws and threw well in the games. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an exaggerated high hand/barrel wrap load, big pull back to start his swing, lots going on pre-swing to impact his timing, has some looseness to his hands, best contact to the middle of the field. Will continue to improve as a hitter with additional strength and some adjustments to simplify his swing. also pitched, has a high arm action with an over the top arm slot, some energy at release. Threw all fastballs and topped out at 84 mph. Good student.
