Corey Wilhelm is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Westfield, IN who attends Westfield. Long and lean athletic build, really projects well physically. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and balanced stance with a hanging leg raise trigger, takes a big swing and is aggressive in his approach, power approach with a longer path, loud off the barrel when he squares it up. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has clean fundamental footwork through the ball for a freshman and clean glove actions out from, long and loose arm action with developing arm strength. Also took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high leg raise delivery, has an over the top arm action, will get off line with his upper body at times. Worked consistently in the mid 70's with his fastball and topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight with some riding life at the top of the zone. Did a good job of landing his fastball and a short 11/5 curveball for strikes. Projectable young athlete. Very good student.
