Alva Erskine is a 2024 MIF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends North Central. Medium frame with strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, toe tap trigger, hands work away from body, creates inside-out path, barrel drags, approach is to serve the ball softly the opposite way. Worked out in the infield, methodical timer, works around the ball well, quick release, clocked up to 79 mph on throws across. Also pitched, throws from 3/4 slot, stays on top of FB well, worked 72-75 mph with plane, flashed curveball with 11/5 shape and slower bite. Very good student.
