Dawson Meeks is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-10 192 lb. frame from Shreveport, LA who attends C.E. Byrd. Strong build, especially in the lower half. Hand drop start to his delivery, has a short and quick arm action with an over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with good natural cutting action from his arm slot. Curveball was his go to pitch this outing, sits in the mid-60's with good depth and 12/6 shape to it. 7.88 runner in the sixty, plays the corner infield positions when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a closed front shoulder start, rotational upper body swing with a line drive swing plane, handles the barrel well and makes consistent pull side contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
