Evan Frangas is a 2028 LHP/1B with a 5-7 105 lb. frame from Old Bethpage, NY who attends Plainview-Old Bethpage/Jfk. Frangas works from a young lean build with plenty of projection left as a '28 prospect. Exclusively from 1B, he effectively got behind the baseball and displayed controlled turns to produce accurate throws on target. He consistently released from a higher slot that ultimately topped out at 69 mph. Expect arm strength to increase as Frangas physically develops. Offensively, the lefty started from a slightly open base with a loose hand set and hanging leg lift trigger, producing his best impact to the middle of the field. He swung with intent to get the barrel extended with power becoming more prominent in the future. Posted an exit velo of 73 mph.
