Jack Laux is a 2026 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Columbia Station, OH who attends St. Edward. Medium frame with athletic, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Hits from open stance, closes well in stride, stiffer hands through load, middle field approach, strength when on time, gap to gap ability, good hitting tools here, projects well. Primary catcher, side-saddle set, good twitch out of crouch, moving well, clean transfer and release, clocked up to 71 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, clocked up to 72 mph from there. Pitched as well, works from stretch, long stride downhill, fastball worked 73-76 mph, flashed slider as well, good strikes.
