Braeden Martin is a 2026 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Columbia, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Slender young athletic build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a short leg raise trigger, gets some torque from his lower half, well-timed swing, gets the barrel out on time and has nice barrel control, hits to all fields, has an idea how to hit and projects well as a hitter. 6.96 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves well and plays defense with energy, fields out front with good hands and funnel, can change arm slots and make plays on the move, has the athleticism to stay in the middle infield. Also worked out in the outfield. Took a turn on the rubber, has an easy delivery with good rhythm, short arm stroke that he repeated well, changed his release slot with intent and has a feel for doing so. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and was up to 77 mph, fastballs from the lower slots were especially effective. Also threw a soft curveball with good shape and threw strikes with both pitches. Good young athlete who will keep improving in all areas.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
