Diego Quintanilla is a 2023 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Pasadena, TX who attends Pasadena Memorial. Lean build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.72 seconds. A primary SS whose best throw across the diamond was clocked at 72 mph. He went after balls with controlled aggression and threw from multiple arm slots. On the offensive side of the baseball he hits out of an even stance with a high back elbow setup and utilizes a toe tap trigger to generate leverage. Flat bat path through the zone and showed aggressive intent in the stroke. Also does a nice job of utilizing the lower half throughout the swing. Good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
