Jack Mitchell is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-6 121 lb. frame from Emporia, VA who attends Brunswick Academy. Lean young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand load, has a sound fundamental swing with good direction through contact, handles the barrel well with consistent solid contact, works gap to gap, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 8.42 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good athleticism through the ball and stays balanced well, has a clean arm action that projects well, compact exchange and arm stroke for a quick release. Also pitched, has a full arm swing that is loose and extended, lands closed out front but works around his landing leg well. Curveball was his best pitch this outing, showed good shape and was thrown for strikes. Fastball worked in the 66-68 mph range and was mostly straight, also threw a straight change up with good arm speed. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
