2022 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Tyler Sobolik is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Collinsville, OK who attends Owasso. Long and lean frame that projects well. Ran a 7.75 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges the ball well and slows momentum some at the point of receiving, works through the funnel well though, good glove and a longer arm action to release with some carry on his throws. Also pitches, under control delivery, short and compact arm stroke and comes out easy, creates some angle on the fastball up to 79, moves it around well, showed feel for a changeup that played well and confident in the breaking ball with healthy shape. Right-handed hitter, wide base and swings level through, has some bat to ball but developing bat speed and strength, produced some low line drive contact to pull.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
