2021 Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase
Matthew Aldridge is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends Junius H Rose. Very athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more, has long levers and is very projectable. Left handed hitter, hits from a still start with a tight hand load, short rotational swing, limited lower half shift, ball comes off the barrel hard and can drive the ball deep gap to gap, has a high ceiling as a hitter if he can develop more rhythm and separation in his swing. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Has a full long arm action in the outfield with some present carry and plenty more to come, works through the ball athletically, has a quick first step towards the ball, will keep improving as an outfielder with repetitions. Good student. Named to the Fall Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.
