Will Marenghi is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends Santa Fe Christian Schools. Features a big, physical presence. Primary Shortstop, showcased athletic lateral movements with a good foot and glove technique. Was accurate with a strong arm and a quick transfer. Throws up to 82 mph. Secondary Outfielder, downhill thrower with a three-quarter arm slot and has good carry from the outfield. He was accurate to both bases throughout. Right-Handed Hitter, wide base to start with a low hand set. Strides out and fires the hands. Generates easy bat speed. Gap to gap type looks proving he could square it up. He was named to the 2023 California Workout Showcase top prospects list. He is an excellent student.
