John Rogers is a 2024 OF/1B, 3B with a 6-4 192 lb. frame from The Plains, VA who attends Episcopal. Large frame with long, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Hits from even, upright stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, loose and lofted stroke with bat speed and present power into both gaps, consistent BP swings and carried them into game, offensive game stood out, very projectable power. Primary outfielder, fields off front foot and carries momentum well with balance, clocked up to 87 mph on throws. Also took infield reps, bounce to footwork to both sides, clean hands out front, projects well to a corner, clocked up to 84 across the diamond. Very good student, named to 2022 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
