2023 Sophomore National Showcase (2026 Grads)
Anthony Grippo is a 2026 RHP/C with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, PA who attends Greensburg Central Catholic. Long athletic build with good present strength for his age. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a full delivery to a high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose with good arm speed, fastball topped out at 83 mph, has been up to 86 mph at PG events, works down in the zone well with his fastball. Showed nice feel for his breaking ball and can change shapes with intent. Also flashed a promising change up. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Plays catcher when not on the mound, showed his arm strength well in drills. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a short and slashing swing, stays inside the ball, worked the opposite field gap well and projects more power in the future. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
