Matthew Lamparella is a 2024 OF/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Etowah. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build showing some room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.84 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, quick to the baseball showing off the speed taking efficient routes. Scoops to the side and carries weight well into throws. Keeps the arm stroke close to the body and was up to 72 mph during drills. Accurate around the bag. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Utilized a belt high leg lift before falling down the hill. Higher slot release as he went right after hitters. Only flashed a fastball that was up to 66 mph. Right-Handed Hitter, open back knee to start as he works into a shorter stride. Proved to have strength in hands as he fired the bat head through the zone. Pop in the swing present and projects some power down the road. Gap to gap approach and drove it when he found the barrel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
