Seth Baldwin is a 2022 3B/2B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Snohomish, WA who attends Monroe. Medium frame showing strong build. 8.10 60-yd. Defensively worked with short choppy steps showing the ability to transfer energy into the throws and flashing small lateral range. Arm worked from high release with fair strength; will need to improve accuracy. Offensively starts with high hands and high back elbow from an open stance. The swing carries effort as he transfers weight into the front side allowing him to make his best contact out front. The best swings came when he hit behind the front side allowing hands to work through the baseball. When on-time, swing produced nice carry to the pullside. As a pitcher showed a simple sidestep to belt high leg lift having the ability to drop and drive from the backside and into a stiff front leg. Average arm swings into a 3/4 release focused on the glove side with the fastball and matched up with a fluid 12/6 curveball. When he was able to get to the front of the baseball, curveball had better actions.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
